Kindergarten Wattenscheid in Gambia is sponsored completely by private donors from all over Germany through financial support or gifts in kind (e.g. solar panels, water pump, school car etc.)
13 Euro costs a sponsorship per month which covers all the running costs, salaries, food, stationary and maintenance – 13 Euro for 450 children and 30 members of staff and their families who also benefit from that project.
None of the committee members in Germany receive any salary or funds for their expenditures. 
Phonecalls, Visits, administration fees etc are all covered privately. This ensures that all the money goes directly to where it is needed – in Gambia.
